Shell Belle Couture was born on the shores of Mauritius in 2010, where truly skilled artisans still make our pieces today.

''I wanted to create collections that were not diminished by the price constraints of mass market. Styles that encompassed the beautiful, evocative feeling of endless summers combined with the nostalgia of seeking delicate intricate finds in a vintage market. Pieces so precious that they become keepsake & heirloom.''

We are delighted to be entering our 15th Year of beautifully undressing your precious moments.

Our Beautiful Journey

Journey into our world reminiscent of past grandeur & languid living.
Inspired by the Roaring 20’s & the Luxury of Travel in the 1930’s.

Shell Belle Couture Designer & Founder Michelle Blenkinsopp-Guild has
been creating beautifully intricate pieces for over 30 years.
Prior to establishing Shell Belle Couture in 2010, Michelle has been a
Designer & Trend Consultant for many worldwide leading brands & Paris
trend agencies.

Her love of vintage glamour is paired with a passion for precious details & the
desire for an endless summer. Inspiring the creation of Shell Belle Couture.

Shell Belle Couture was born on the shores of the idyllic island of Mauritius,
where Michelle lived & worked with her young family for several years.

A beautiful & lasting relationship was formed with the family run, highly skilled
Atelier, whom still remain the sole makers of her intricate designs today.
Two Women ran businesses designing & creating for Women.

'My relationship with Shoba, the Atelier owner in Mauritius, is special & unique.
We speak daily supporting each other on this incredible journey as two Women in Business.
I am proud that our friendship spans over 19 years'.

Our HQ is located in a renovated 19th Century Chapel (circa 1882) in a picturesque hamlet tucked away on the North Cornwall coast.

The silks, tulles & French leavers lace are sourced from the world's finest makers.
Brought to life in our Lingerie Atelier, on the idyllic island of Mauritius.
